State Bank of India (SBI) is giving great convenience to Jan Dhan account holders. Please inform you that if you have a Jan Dhan account in SBI or you are planning to open a Jan Dhan account, then this news is for your benefit. Actually, State Bank is giving benefits of up to 2 lakh rupees to its Jan Dhan account holders. State Bank of India has given this information by tweeting from its official Twitter handle.
Benefit of Rs. 2 lakhs on Account
According to the information, if you apply for SBI RUPAY Jan Dhan Card, then you will get accident insurance cover up to 2 lakh rupees. For this, you have to swipe this card once in 90 days. By doing this, you will be valid for getting Accidental Insurance of 2 lakh rupees.
Open Account Immediately
According to an official of the State Bank of India branch based in Faizabad, any citizen of India, who is 10 years or above, can open his / her Jan Dhan account in the bank. You can transfer your basic savings account to the Jan Dhan Yojana account by opening a Jan Dhan account. For this work, you will have to submit an application in the bank that your account is transferred to Jan Dhan Yojana. Let us tell you that about 40.35 crore Jan Dhan bank accounts have been opened so far. Under this scheme, the account of the poor of the country is opened on zero balance in banks, post offices, and nationalized banks. Now all the Jan Dhan bank account holders can take advantage of it.
