Microsoft announced yesterday that it intends to provide administrator updates to corporate administrators for Visual Studio 2017/2019 during April.
These are then available from WSUS or the update catalog and can be distributed to individual devices. They are divided into security updates, function updates, and quality updates. The computers must be configured in advance so that they can then install the updates.
Microsoft also writes: "Please note that the administrative updates for Visual Studio 2017 and 2019 do not contain the updated components of the product itself, but that the components of the product come either from the Internet or from a network or private installation cache."
