Intel has updated its graphics driver for Windows 10. The new version number is 27.20.100.9466 and can be used from Windows 10 1709 and for Intel CPUs from the 6th generation.
As a highlight, Intel states that the crashes and graphics anomalies in Cyberpunk 2077 (DX12) have been fixed for this driver. But other bugs were also corrected.
Fixed issues:
- Intermittent crash or hang in Cyberpunk 2077 (DX12), Ridge Racer Unbounded, StarCraft 2, Horizon Zero Dawn (DX12).
- Minor graphical anomalies on the main character during character creation in Cyberpunk 2077 (DX12)
- Minor graphical anomalies on the floor when the graph quality in Valorant * is set to High.
- Black squares after cutscenes when the video quality profile in Wolfenstein: Youngblood is set to High (Vulkan).
- Minor graphic anomalies in Battlefield I (DX11) and Valheim (Vulkan) (loading screen).
- Delays were observed when playing a 4K / 2K / Full HD video in 8K60 tile mode with the application window maximized.
- Monitors on the MST side are not displayed after the monitor on the DP switch side has been removed and connected on the MST side.
- Fourth screen cannot be turned on in “Second screen only” mode when four screens are daisy-chained via DP.
- A video freezes and delays when playing movies in the Movies and TV application and when double-clicking zoom in / out.
- A video freezes when switching from full screen to a small window while the video is playing.
- The 8K monitor continues to flash in expansion mode / 2nd mode only.
- In full screen mode with an 8K monitor connected, the video is delayed or not displayed at all.
- 8K monitor is inactive after upgrading to the latest graphics driver.
- Half of the display can be hidden when restarting with a 4K single-tiled display connected via the display port.
- Green color distortion with rotated media playback was observed.
Known problems:
- Intermittent crashes or hangs can occur in Dirt 5 (DX12), Shadowman Remastered (Vulkan), Shadow of the Tomb Raider (DX11) on Intel® Iris Xe and Intel® Iris Xe Max graphics cards.
- Intermittent crashes or hangs can occur in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (DX12), Need for Speed: Payback, Doom Eternal (Vulkan) on Intel Iris Xe graphics
- In Marvel's Avengers * (DX12), Red Dead Redemption 2 (Vulkan), World of Warcraft Shadowlands (DX12), Sid Meier's Civilization VI (during ALT + ENTER) on Intel Iris Xe Max graphics cards, intermittent crashes or hangs can occur.
- Intermittent crashes or hangs can occur in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint (DX11), Metro Exodus (DX12) when changing the graphics settings, Destiny 2 (with activated anti-cheat).
- Minor graphic anomalies can be found in Assassin's Creed Valhalla (DX12), Dirt 5 (DX12), Baldur's Gate 3 (Vulkan), Forza Horizon 4 (DX12), Hitman 2 (DX12), Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint (DX11), Watch Dogs: Legion (DX12), FIFA 21 * (while ALT + TAB), 3DMark: FireStrike occur on Intel Iris Xe and Intel® Iris Xe Max graphics.
- Minor graphics anomalies can occur in Far Cry: New Dawn when starting from a saved file, Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, Adobe Premiere Pro 2020 when playing videos on Intel Iris Xe graphics.
- Minor graphics anomalies can be observed in Control (DX12), Horizon Zero Dawn (DX12), Metro Exodus (DX12), Red Dead Redemption 2 (Vulkan) on Intel Iris Xe Max graphics.

- By the way: A few days ago the Intel graphics driver for Windows 7 / 8.1 was upgraded to 15.36.41.5180. This is for 4th generation Intel CPUs
