A download manager that works without advertising banners and spyware. Features include pausing and resuming downloads, download speed and number of connections, downloads from multiple sources, and entire websites.
Other features of the Free Download Manager (FDM) are scheduled downloads with saved logins and the automatic division of files into specific folders.
If a server does not support resuming downloads, the program issues a warning before pausing. To plan downloads, the Free Download Manager also offers the option of dialing into the Internet independently, downloading the desired files via HTTP, HTTPS, or FTP, disconnecting the connection, and shutting down the computer.
