Notepad is a popular Windows 10 application. With the arrival of Build 21337, Microsoft has made some adjustments. The notebook has been moved to the Microsoft Store for more frequent updates. This change allows the company to release improvements without needing to rely on major OS updates.
So far, Notepad keeps pace with the release of Windows 10 feature updates. This means that the application can only enjoy new features twice a year.

Microsoft's new approach is making a difference and will allow for faster evolutions as soon as they are operational. It will no longer be necessary to wait for spring or fall.
At the same time, the application benefits from a new icon and above all is extracted from the Windows Accessories directory of the start menu to take advantage of its own place in the Start menu.
Note that another important improvement accompanies this build 21337. It concerns Windows Terminal now considered as a system application of the operating system. It offers support for multiple tabs and Unicode and UTF-8 characters, takes advantage of a GPU-accelerated text rendering engine, custom themes, styles and settings.
Although now present natively in the OS, its updates will continue to arrive via the Microsoft Store.
