Redmi Display 27: Xiaomi announces a new 27" monitor at an attractive price

Xiaomi announces the Redmi Display 27, a 27-inch monitor with narrow display bezels and a slim design. The monitor has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. In addition, there is a refresh rate of 75 Hz and a response time of 6 ms, which makes the device interesting for casual gamers too. The Redmi Display 27 has both HDMI 1.4 and VGA ports. Headphones can be connected via an AUX plug. 

The monitor weighs 4.3 kg and is mostly only 7.5 mm thick. The display also uses an IPS panel, which ensures stable viewing angles of up to 178 °. Furthermore, the Redmi Display 27 covers the entire sRGB color space and achieves a contrast of 1,000: 1. In addition, a blue-light-reduced mode is integrated to prevent eye strain when working for a long time. The stand cannot be adjusted in height, the display can only be tilted forwards and backward.

The maximum brightness of 300 nits is the average on the market. With a price of 899 yuan (about 115 euros) in China, the Redmi Display 27 is quite cheap for the features it offers. Whether and at what price Xiaomi will offer the monitor in Europe is still unclear at this point in time.
