Following the traditional launch schedule, Realme should be on the verge of announcing its new intermediaries. The Realme 8 and 8 Pro, and possibly a third variant, may show up in March, following up on the Chinese manufacturer's proposal to house top-line features in a more sober and more competitive set.
Thanks to the imminence, the rumors become even more consistent and recurrent - and Canaltech has already reported several of them. The Realme 8 had its main camera unveiled during an event and TENAA certifications, equivalent to Anatel in China, anticipated the look of the trio with a bouncing camera module and textured plastic rear.
Check, then, what to expect for Realme's next big launch and what top-of-the-line features the company has introduced to the mid-market.
Design
The look of the Realme 8 and 8 Pro has already been featured in photos published by company executives - at least, from the rear. The shots show an elegant device, with a rectangular camera module parked in the upper left corner and the well-known expression “Dare to Leap” emblazoned in textured large letters.

It is too early to deduce that the entire line will have the same look, but it is unlikely that the Pro version will be very distant from the base model. At the front, the screen is due to the 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, without any mention of the high update frequency - which raises the suspicion that it will be a screen with a conventional rate.
Realme 8: cameras
One of the new features confirmed for the next release is the powerful set of cameras - more specifically, the main lens of 108 MP. The photosensor is Samsung's ISOCELL HM2, presented in September 2020 and contained in top-of-the-line launches and the latest Redmi Note 10 Pro.
In it, there are significant improvements in light capture technology and even smaller pixels for even more accurate registration of colors and contrast. In addition, it doubles the maximum capture resolution when compared to its predecessor, which even if not taken advantage of, results in even better photos with the “pixel union” - going up to the merging of 9 pixels into 1, for a better representation of the screen elements.

It is not certain whether the sensor will be equipped on all models in the line. It is likely to be at least in Realme 8 Pro, reiterating its sovereignty in specifications within the 8 series, while the base model would have the main sensor of 64 MP. Information about the other sensors does not yet exist, but the set must consist of wide-angle, macro and other lenses exclusive for depth detection.
Realme: specifications
Realme CEO Madhav Sheth himself took the lead in the rumors and revealed secrets about his next release. One of his Twitter publications, for example, reveals the back of the Realme 8 box and anticipates much of the technical sheet of the weaker middleman of the generation.
Therefore, the box demystifies the presence of the Helio G95, a slightly more powerful version than the G90T, both from MediaTek and focused on gaming performance. Inside, eight cores are arranged between a 2.05 GHz Cortex-A76 double and six Cortex-A55 with a 2 GHz frequency for secondary or undemanding tasks.

The other devices remain a mystery. Still, it wouldn't be a surprise if they were packaged with slightly more powerful processors or even equivalents from Qualcomm for better handling of photos and videos. Regarding the memories, the base model would come in variants of 4 or 8 GB of RAM; the Realme 8 Pro, in turn, would come with 6 or 8 GB of RAM, both with 128 GB of storage (expandable via microUSB card).
Realme: battery
Also according to the photo released by the CEO, the component that will power the entire set will be 5,000 mAh - at least in the conventional Realme 8. The capacity allows a day of moderate activity on the cell phone away from the outlets, but the simpler specifications of the line can push the autonomy for more than one day of use. To reinforce the charge, cell phones will be compatible with 30 W fast charging.
Realme: price and availability
For now, there is no information related to the launch of the Realme 8 series. The brand previously dusted the ad on March 2 but reserved the event exclusively for the development of the cameras. However, there is a certainty that, first, Realme 8 will be launched in China and India, only then to appear in the Brazilian market.
In price, you can use the premiere value of the predecessor. Here, the base model was valued at R $ 2,299, and the 7 Pro arrived at R $ 2,799. Therefore, the next releases may arrive at similar values, while predecessors are relocated to more accessible ranges.
