NVIDIA Reflex Comes to Overwatch

NVIDIA Reflex reduces system latency to help gamers be more competitive, allowing them to set their targets more quickly, react faster, and increase aiming accuracy. Having recently landed on Rainbow Six Siege,  now all Overwatch users with a GeForce GTX 900 Series or higher graphics card will be able to take advantage of this technology before it is released in the final version of the game.

Launch

To test it out, players will need to download the latest Game Ready driver, access the Overwatch PTR server, navigate the menu to display options and enable NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency. The tests already carried out indicate that this is the best Reflex integration carried out to date since it offers a reduction in system latency of up to 50% when the technology is activated in  Overwatch.

Overwatch also incorporates the  Latency Flash Indicator. If a system is equipped with a new Reflex Latency Analyzer compatible monitor and has the GeForce Experience application installed, the user simply needs to turn on the flash indicator and position the monitoring rectangle to start receiving accurate and up-to-date data on the latency of the device. system.

NVIDIA Reflex is enjoying a positive reception from developers: 7 of the 10   most popular shooters have already adopted this technology. In addition, it is now easier to incorporate into new projects thanks to its recent compatibility with the  UE4 mainline.
