Using their OmniVision platform, juicy prizes are promised for the top 3. Nvidia has launched the “Create with Marbles” contest, something like Crea con marbles, in which it asks interested artists to unleash and unleash their artistic streak to win some very interesting prizes.
The platform to be used is the NVIDIA Omnivision, which the company itself created to be able to collaborate virtually and carry out creations and simulations. As some may recall, this platform was presented at the NVIDIA GTC in 2020, less than a year ago, with the Marbles RTX demo, in which marble was made to move through a route that was made up of elements of our daily lives. In this demo it was shown how to complete physics and ray-tracing could be simulated in real-time.
It was precisely from that demo that this challenge was born so that those creators who participate can experience how Omniverse will transform the future of graphics in real-time. The requirement is to design a stage with all the assets and objects used in the original Marbles RTX demo.
NVIDIA already anticipates that it is not required to know how to model or animate. Simply use the 100+ available Marbles RTX assets to create the best possible scenario. To access these assets, it is necessary first to download and install the Omniverse Create application.
Once downloaded, you can use the tools that Omniverse Create integrates or choose from those available in the Omniverse Connector. After that, they are encouraged to unleash the creativity of each one to make the desired scene composition and the type of lighting or camera. Finally, it will be necessary to render everything with RTX Renderer to achieve the best possible graphics and send the final result.
The work carried out will be evaluated by judges according to criteria such as the use of the assets provided, the originality of the project, or the quality of the final rendering. The top three entrants will receive respectively: an RTX A6000, a GeForce RTX 3090, and a GeForce RTX 3080.
