Marvel has released a new teaser for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, dedicated to Sam Wilson, aka Falcon (Anthony Mackie), and Bucky Barnes, aka The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan). From minor characters, they've been promoted to main characters.
In the teaser, they jokingly discuss what to call their association. The "team" and "partners" are rejected. As a result, the option "colleagues" is chosen.
The events of the series will unfold almost immediately after the end of "Avengers: Endgame". The heroes, who were previously the main assistants of Captain America, will have their own adventure. Plus this is a good opportunity to reveal the characters, as was done in "WandaVision" with the Scarlet Witch.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier kicks off on March 19. The first season will have six episodes of 40-50 minutes each.
