Intel may be preparing 19 Alder Lake processors for notebooks

Intel lost some ground in the processor segment, in particular, to rival AMD. However, the North American manufacturer has shown that it is at full throttle in the task of innovating and filling the market with new and excellent products.

In this regard, some recent leaks reveal that Intel will be preparing a total of 19 Alder Lake processors for portable computers.

The bet on a hybrid architecture

Intel is committed to showing that it is working hard to bring new products to consumers. One of the company's focuses is the CPUs for portable computers, such as the Tiger Lake models that are expected to arrive in the second quarter.

According to some revealed clues, there is more news about possible products that Intel will be preparing.

Intel may launch 19 Alder Lake processors for notebooks

According to recent information that has been released, Intel will be preparing 19 new models of Alder Lake processors. The publication reveals some details about the CPUs Alder Lake with hybrid architecture for portable computers.

As we can see, these 19 models vary their TDP between 5 and 55 watts and have integrated graphics of the 12th generation.

Through the image, it appears that the most basic model will have a large core and four more with lower performance. One of the most powerful chips, on the other hand, has 8 low-performance cores and another 8 high-performance cores.

The 'small' cores are based on the Gracemount microarchitecture, while the larger ones are based on the Golden Cove.

These new processors follow the ARM big.LITTLE line with hybrid cores. Some models will perform poorly and also consume less. Others, in turn, are directed to situations where higher performance is required, but also consume more.

Each of these models will also feature integrated Intel graphics. In addition, each chip will have a different number of Execution Units, with the value ranging from 32 to 96 units.

Intel has already confirmed that the new 12th generation Alder Lake processors will be launched later this year. Some rumors suggest that this will happen in September.
