The motherboard AORUS Z590 Extreme Waterforce of Gigabyte will reach the market with liquid cooling blocks, many features, and support for the most powerful processors Comet Lake-S-S and Rocket Lake.
Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Waterforce announced with water block and 20 + 1 VRM
As you can imagine, the motherboard will hit the market full of features and liquid dissipation on almost the entire surface, dispensing with any type of air cooling. The blocks are not only located in the CPU, they are also located in the chipset, the VRM phases and can even dissipate the heat generated by M.2 SSDs.
The AORUS Z590 Extreme Waterforce monoblock features digital temperature gauges for CPU and coolant degrees Celsius and comes with additional leak protection. The monoblock connects to the motherboard via an internal USB-C port.
To deliver power to the processor, the motherboard has a 20 + 1 phase VRM with 100A power stages. This power should be more than enough for any flagship processor, especially to perform overlocking. We know that the next i9-11900K is going to require a TDP PL2 of up to 250W.
Regarding connectivity, we have two USB Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, Intel WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.0. We also have a Quantia 10Gb Ethernet port, a 2.5Gb LAN port and there are up to 8 USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports.
RGB lighting is present throughout the motherboard with RGB LEDs and the rest of the surface is confused between matte black and metallic colors.
The AORUS Z590 Extreme Waterforce motherboard is clearly geared towards PC enthusiasts who need the best performance at any cost. The Rocket Lake-S series will go on sale on March 30.
