The OVH data center in France recently suffered a fire. Swallowed by calls, this fire led to the destruction of thousands of business websites, including the popular WP Rocket and Imagify plugins. A multitude of companies are sending updates to their customers on Twitter because their web pages are down.
A fire in the OVH data center affects thousands of websites
A fire engulfed an OVH cloud data center located in Strasbourg, France. After several hours, the fire was finally under the control of the firefighters, although the damage had already been done.
Problems
OVH itself confirmed this fire through a couple of statements, gradually reporting on the situation, as the firefighters finally managed to control this fire. Due to this, they confirmed that several servers were not going to start or restart, due to the complicated situation inside the building where the fire took place.
The cause of this is that there are web pages that do not work, as well as some plugins. This is the case of the popular WordPress WP Rocket plugin. In their social networks, they announced that the web was not working temporarily due to that fire in the data center. Although in many cases this plugin was still working, although not 100%.

Many web pages have been affected by this fire in the OVH data center. Pages like Rust or Piwigo.com are some of the main affected. Also, Imagify, known to WordPress users, would stop working for hours due to this problem.
Most likely, it will take a while for all these web pages to function normally. It will depend largely on how the situation is in the said data center, something that will be updated with the passing of the hours. The number of affected pages is surely high, so you will be able to notice these problems.
