Cooler Master is updating its offering in 'premium' power supplies, with the V850 Gold V2 White Edition and V750 Gold V2 White Edition models, which will be launched very shortly.
Cooler Master V850 Gold V2 PSU White Edition Launched
Both sources use an LLC DC / DC converter that ensures no power loss and minimizes noise, as well as the use of 100% Japanese capacitors, which are the best on the market.
The source uses 16 AWG modular wire that is thicker than standard 18 AWG wire and has excellent conductivity. The number of connectors are; 1 x 24 pins, 1 EPS x 4 + 4, 1 EPS x 8 pins, 12 x SATA, 4 x 4 pins and 6 PCIe x 6 + 2 pins.
The fan is of the FDB type (fluid dynamic bearing) with a size of 135 mm that ensures low friction and a low rotation speed to cool the source without generating much noise. In addition, it has the semi-fanless mode, where the fan only acts when there is a load of 40% or more. This mode can be activated or deactivated using an analog 'hybrid' button.
The dimensions of the PSU are 150mm wide, 160mm deep, and 86mm high. Cooler Master advises that the MTBF is about 100,000 hours, with a 10-year warranty, one of the longest warranties we've seen. The V750 sells for 109 euros and the V850 for 119 euros.
