The NVMe AORUS 7000s SSD is the new thing from the folks at GIGABYTE. This drive uses the PCIe 4.0 connection interface with Phison drivers, for super-fast read and write speeds.
AORUS 7000s, PCIe 4.0 SSDs available with 7,000MB / s reads and 1TB / 2TB capacities
The release date and estimated retail price have been announced for the AORUS 7000s SSD, which uses the Phison PS5018-E18 controller with PCIe 4.0 interface.
AORUS launches this unit in two capacities, 1TB and 2TB, and 96-layer 3D NAND TLC modules with a maximum speed of 1,200 MT / s. Thanks to this module and the Phison controller, the speeds of the 2TB model have a sequential read of 7,000MB / s and a write of 6,850MB / s. Random reads are 650,000 IOPS and write 700,000 IOPS. AORUS specifies a write resistance of 1,400TBW.
In the case of the 1 TB model, it has a sequential read of 7,000 MB / s and a write of 5,500 MB / s. Random reads are 350,000 IOPS and write capacities are 700,000 IOPS. The durability of this model reaches 700 TBW before it becomes a read-only drive.
On an aesthetic level, the AORUS 7000s have a thin nano-carbon coated heat sink, which helps maintain stable passive temperatures. Dimensions are 23.5mm wide, 80.5mm deep, and 11.4mm high. The MTBF value is 1.6 million hours and the warranty extends to 5 years.
You can see more information on the official product page and the price is 220 euros for the 1 TB model and 370 euros for the 2 TB model.
