Lenovo is ready to launch its new ThinkPad business laptops, which will benefit from the Ryzen PRO 7 5850U and Ryzen PRO 5 5650U APU processors.
The manufacturer is listing ThinkPad T14 laptops with two possibilities, with the Ryzen PRO 7 5850U and Ryzen PRO 5 5650U. Let's see what are the specifications have been revealed.
The Ryzen 5 PRO 5650U is an APU that has 6 cores, 12 threads and reaches 4.2 GHz of clock speed. For its part, the model with 8 cores and 16 threads, Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U, will reach 4.4 GHz. Both units have been cataloged with a TDP of 10 to 25W. The GPU has not been confirmed in these specifications, so we do not know how many Compute Units it has.
At the moment, we do not know to which architecture this PRO series belongs, if it is a Lucienne variant (Zen 2) or if it is a Cezanne (Zen 3). What is clear is that these PRO variants are not models derived directly from the non-PRO variants.
