Synopsis
The action takes place in Las Vegas, struck by the outbreak of an epidemic. Thanks to the built wall of shipping containers, the plague is contained within Vegas, but the city itself becomes a breeding ground for zombies.
Six years later, one of the casino owners hires a squad of "zombie soldiers" to rob his own safe in the infected Sin City.
"Army of the Dead," tells about robbers who are trying to steal money from a casino in Las Vegas during a zombie invasion. The film stars Dave Batista (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Ella Pernell (Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children).
The film stars Dave Batista, Ella Pernell, Garrett Dillahunt, Teague Notaro, Ana de la Reguera, Omari Hardwicke, Hiroyuki Sanada and Theo Rossi.
It is also worth recalling that the prequel has already been filmed and an animated series is being prepared.
The production of the picture started back in 2007, and it was originally supposed to be shot by Matthis van Heinigen, Jr., known for "The Thing" (2011). Later, the rights to "Army of the Dead" were bought by Netflix, and the director was appointed Zach Snyder, who was previously listed as a producer.
