Ubisoft has confirmed to PC Gamer that it is continuing to work on crossplay and cross-progression for Rainbow Six Siege. However, when to expect it is still unclear.
Now the developers are planning to introduce support only in the version for PlayStation and Xbox.

The advantages of crossplay on consoles are obvious, but whether the feature will ever appear on the PC, the company cannot yet give a concrete answer.
