There's a simple nod to the most catastrophic event in the Marvel Universe, Thanos' snap, in the seventh episode of WandaVision.
One of the most important events in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is, without a doubt, the snap of Thanos (Josh Brolin). It occurred in the final stretch of the movie Avengers: Infinity War (Joe and Anthony Russo, 2018), and, with it, the Mad Titan made half of the living beings in the cosmos disappear in an unprecedented genocide. Thus, it was the first time that the villain on duty triumphed. Not for long, yes, as they showed us at the end of Avengers: Endgame (Russo Brothers, 2019). Although stopping his feet entailed great sacrifices for our superheroes.
There is an easter egg on Thanos snapping in the opening sequence of the chapter "Breaking the Fourth Wall" (1x07) by WandaVision
With these immediate antecedents, since the phenomenon of WandaVision (Jac Schaeffer, 2021) occurs a few weeks after the snap of Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) to recover the dead of the previous one - like Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen), or Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) according to the beginning of the episode "We Interrupt This Program" (1x04) - and after the last one in the fingers of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), it should not be surprising that the Disney Plus series includes an egg of easter about the catastrophe. More specifically, in the opening sequence of the chapter "Breaking the Fourth Wall" (1x07).
The biggest tragedy at a 'WandaVision' breakfast
Wanda Maximoff is about to eat a good bowl of milk with Sugar Snaps cereals, that is, with "Sugar Snaps"
Wanda Maximoff prepares for breakfast during that parody of the sitcoms The Office (Greg Daniels, Ricky Gervais, and Stephen Merchant, 2005-2013), Modern Family (Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd, 2009-2020), and Happy Endings (David Caspe, 2011 -2020). Choose the almond milk first, which transforms into real milk with vitamin D, and then the classic one for a nice bowl of Sugar Snaps cereal. And in that name is the Easter egg, as it means "Sugar Snap". It could be said that it is plural and that, therefore, it points to the three clicks of the UCM. But a singular would be absurd, and it seems indisputable that the most relevant of them is Thanos.
