Nintendo chose this Wednesday (17) to present a new Nintendo Direct event that will show to the brand's fans games that will be launched in the first half of this year.
With a duration of 50 minutes, the presentation is the first of its kind after several Direct Mini, which had a few minutes of advertisements, and occurred in recent months. Today's broadcast will take place from 19h (BrasÃlia time). To watch the event, simply access Nintendo's official YouTube channel - or the player below.
It is worth remembering that, for those who cannot follow live, Olhar Digital will cover all ads made by the company.
What to expect
There is no clue as to what will be revealed, but the company is believed to present news related to 'Monster Hunter Rise', which hits the Nintendo Switch in March, and ' Pokémon Snap ', which will land on the hybrid console in April.
The company is likely to show some new content for ' Animal Crossing: New Horizons ' and 'Pokémon Sword and Shield'. As a teaser, it was revealed that there will be some information about 'Smash Bros Ultimate'.

It is also possible that a new game of the mustachioed plumber is shown. That's because, the two most recent titles - ' Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury ' and ' Super Mario 3D All-Stars ' - are reissues of games that came out for other platforms.
The program may have some space reserved for some of the great titles in development for the Switch, such as 'Bayonetta 3' and 'Metroid Prime 4'. However, the company has not revealed details of these projects in a long time.
Finally, with the 35th anniversary celebration of the 'The Legend of Zelda' saga, we may have an idea of Nintendo's plans for 'Breath of the Wild 2' - or perhaps even a collection of classic games, in the same scheme as that happened to Mario.
Nintendo Switch Pro?
It's pretty unlikely, but Nintendo can also use the event to reveal the Switch Pro, a more powerful version of the console, to the world.
However, in December 2020, Doug Bower, CEO of Nintendo of America, revealed that the company is always “looking at technology”, but that it continues to focus on the Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite. Therefore, the possibility of something about the console appearing can be minimal.
