Capcom has confirmed that Monster Hunter Rise will arrive on PC in early 2022. The game, which is announced for Nintendo Switch, will have a computer version.
Monster Hunter Rise was announced for Nintendo Switch and its launch will take place on March 26. Many believed that the game would be exclusive only to the Nintendo video console, but nothing could be further from the truth.
Capcom has confirmed that the game will be released for PC in early 2022, a year after the Nintendo Switch version.
Monster Hunter Rise is designed with the RE Engine graphics engine, which is the same that Capcom uses for other video games such as Resident Evil, Devil May Cry 5 and other future video games from the studio such as Resident Evil Village.
Monster Hunter Rise appears to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor, Monster Hunter World, which was released first for game consoles and then for PC. At this time, we do not know if there will be a version of Monter Hunter Rise for other game consoles such as PlayStation or Xbox. This move would not surprise us unless Nintendo has reached an exclusive agreement with Capcom to release the game only on Switch on console platforms.
The differences in resolution and graphic quality should be very noticeable on the PC version compared to the Switch version due to the limitations of the Nintendo console. There is no doubt that the PC port will offer the best experience in this game.
Capcom plans to release more details on the PC version of Monster Hunter Rise as its release nears. We will keep you informed.
