Intel Core i9-11900K appears again in CPU-Z tool

Intel Core i9-11900K appears in an entry on the CPU-Z validation page, which confirms some specifications and the performance that it will offer.

The processor belongs to the generation Rocket Lake-S of 11th generation has 8 cores and 16 threads under a core architecture Cypress Cove, and the idea is that its release occurs over the next month.

The Rocket Lake-S processors are going to be the last to use the 14nm process node, in the lead up to Alder Lake, which is the 12th generation with a 10nm process node. The leap in performance that TSMC's 14nm node can still offer is going to be interesting.

The processor was seen in the CPU-Z 1.95 tool that officially supports this new generation, therefore, we believe that the results are not the result of bad reading.

The Intel Core i9-11900K can run at 4.7 GHz on all cores and there is Thermal Velocity Boost support with up to 4.8 GHz on all cores and 5.2 GHz on one core.

The ASUS ROG Maximus XII Extreme motherboard which is based on the Z490 chipset was used. The test system was equipped with 32 GB of 3200 MHz DDR4 memory, which is the highest clock speed supported by the Rocket Lake-S series without the XMP profile.

The result in CPU-Z is 716 points in the single thread benchmark. In the multi-threaded test, a score of 6539 points is achieved. These results would be in line with the previous ones that we had seen.
