Elon Musk has revealed how many hours he sleeps and until what time he works on the latest episode of the podcast 'The Joe Rogan Experience'.
The South African tycoon Elon Musk is, without a doubt, one of the people who has been giving the most talk in recent years. His success at the head of companies such as SpaceX or Tesla added to his peculiar personality, has made him a benchmark.
Elon Musk's daily life, however, is full of work. With companies like Tesla, SpaceX, The Boring Company, or Neuralink under his umbrella, many probably think that the tycoon's hours are, to say the least, peculiar. And, indeed, he himself has confirmed this reality in the podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, where he spoke briefly about his routine.
“I am usually in business meetings until one or two in the morning. Not normally on Saturdays and Sundays, but sometimes too, ”he explained.
And how long does Elon Musk sleep? Well, as he explained in the same podcast, about six hours. The answer surprised Joe Rogan himself, who probably expected the tycoon, with so many open fronts, to spend less time in bed than he revealed.
Musk, yes, admitted that, if he could, he would sleep less than six hours a day. "I tried to sleep less, but then the total productivity decreases," he explained. "I don't usually find myself wanting to sleep more than six hours."
Elon Musk came to sleep in Tesla's office
Speaking to The Wall Street Journal, Elon Musk came to acknowledge sleeping in his Tesla office during the Model 3 production boom. "There were times when, some weeks ... I haven't exactly counted, but I just slept a few hours, worked, slept a few hours, worked seven days a week," she explained to journalist Kara Swisher in 2018.
The executive, yes, recognized that this extreme work habit is not healthy or recommended. “It is not recommended for anyone. You will go a little crazy if you work 120 hours a week, "he told Axios.
