Destruction AllStars is now available for free to PlayStation Plus subscribers

After its November postponement, the driving game with elements of destruction arrived exclusively on PlayStation 5.

Exceptionally, Destruction AllStars will be available free of charge to members of the PS Plus service for two months, that is, starting today and until April 5th. This title, which is a tribute to the classic Destruction Derby, exclusively for PS5, focuses on skirmishes between vehicles in arenas, but also on foot, in an online multiplayer format.

According to Sony, players will have to accumulate wreckage behind the wheel or on foot, on the television show that is a global phenomenon Destruction AllStars. They will also have the opportunity to become “masters at the wheel in vehicle battles, learning the correct timings, tactics, and skills that will allow them to cause enormous damage, destruction, and devastation in vibrant arenas around the world”, points out the producer.

The game contains 16 characters, each with unique characteristics, that will give the best in the competition, in the name of entertainment and demolition. Producer Lucid Games and Sony xDev have promised to support the game for at least a year, introducing new content, characters, vehicles, and refining mechanics through player feedback.

Each vehicle has a range of attacks and traps, from spikes that can be added to its front end, or reinforced armor to withstand collisions or even a powerful magnet that pulls all other runners around.

And when the car is about to explode, players have the opportunity to jump out of it and risk traveling the arena to access other new vehicles, strategically parked on platforms above the arena. In addition to the opponents, the runners will have to deal with traps placed in the arena, such as rotating blades, electric wells, and others.

In addition to Destruction AllStars, this month PS Plus subscribers can also download free Control: Ultimate Edition, Concrete Genie, and Dawn of Fear.
