CD Projekt Red brings us some new bad news regarding Cyberpunk 2077, the long-awaited 1.2 updates have been delayed.
Our goal for Patch 1.2 goes beyond any of our previous updates. We’ve been working on numerous overall quality improvements and fixes, and we still have work to do to make sure that’s what you get. With that in mind, we’re now aiming for release in the second half of March. 2/3

Cyberpunk 2077 1.2 was scheduled to be released these days, promising to improve performance and fix several bugs that hindered the gaming experience, but apparently, the studio needs more time to get this patch in good condition.
Finally, the study originating in Poland has confirmed that the patch will be ready for the second half of March, so the delay will be between two and three weeks.
The statement was made via Twitter, where CD Projekt clarifies what are the intentions to publish patch 1.2. The study ensures that the patch is much larger and more ambitious than 1.1 and that it will bring important improvements for all platforms and not only for the PC version.
CD Projekt wants to work exclusively on the patch and then focus on the announced free DLC content. The Polish studio does not intend to abandon the game, on the contrary, it wants to continue improving it and adding content to keep players happy after the failures that have tarnished the launch.
We don't know if all the planned DLC content will be free this year or if there will be any paid. CDP has not wanted to clarify this point, but if they have specified that there will be free DLC content, it is presumable that they will make others paid later when the game is fixed to a greater extent.
