Carole Baskin has announced that it will not be part of the second season of 'Tiger King'. The Florida animal rights activist said she has rejected all Netflix proposals to appear in the episodes of the new installment of the popular series that became a "boom" during the coronavirus pandemic.
We are sure that even those who did not see the series on Netflix recognize the name of Carole Baskin, since she became instantly famous for her participation in the documentary, especially for the entire murder case of her second husband , which we still believe is guilty.
While Joe Exotic is in prison for his conviction for the attempted murder of Baskin herself, Baskin has profited from the success of the documentary, until now she refuses to be part of the second season.
According to her interview with The Radio Times, Baskin will not be part of the new season, as she believes that Netflix and the production team betrayed her for the purpose of the docuseries.
"I've been talking about how we had been so fooled into thinking this was going to be the 'Blackfish' for big cats, and then it turned out to be the freak show they produced."
According to Baskin, the streaming giant painted her little birds in the air and she believed that 'Tiger King' would be like the popular documentary that exposed the conditions of animals in water parks, but it ended up being something very different.
Baskin is undoubtedly raising his voice almost a year too late, as the production even featured 2020 Emmy nominations. So far, Netflix has not commented on it and much less on the details of the second season beyond the plot.
