'Call of Duty: Warzone' is approaching its second season and these are all the news

Activision revealed all the news for the second season of Call of Duty: Warzone. It will be available on February 25.

Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is gearing up to host season two. Although it will be available until February 25, Activision has already revealed a large part of the news that we can enjoy starting next week. Of course, Season 2 is loaded with content for the two multiplayer titles, although in this post we will focus mainly on the battle royale. The first thing you should know is that, except for some surprise that they have well saved, there will be no new map for Warzone during the second season. Many rumors anticipated that Verdansk would be replaced soon, but nothing indicates that this will happen with the start of Season 2. However, the current map will have new locations that will expand the battle. For example, the arrival of Vodianoy is mentioned, an oil tanker that will appear in the port of Verdansk.

"Operators who are in the vicinity are recommended to take all precautions since the ship is carrying unknown cargo and its crew cannot be contacted," they explain. And speaking of operators, this season four new characters will debut in Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War: Naga, Maxis, Wolf and Rivas. The first will be available from the beginning, while the other three will arrive in later weeks.

As for the arsenal, there is also news. The FARA 83 Assault Rifle will be added and can be unlocked at Season Level 15. The rifle is automatic and offers one of the fastest rates of fire in its class. In addition, Warzone will welcome the LC10, an automatic submachine gun that promises to cause great damage at close and medium range. His rate of fire is also quite high and can be yours at level 30 of the season.

Finally, two new game modes will be added to Warzone. The first, to be activated later in the season, is Exfiltration, in which players will have to find a portable radio and secure it in Verdansk. However, opponents will be able to see the location of the team that secured the radio. If your squad is able to keep it safe for a certain period of time, they will win the game. Meanwhile, Resurgence Extreme increases to 90 the number of players on the island of El Renacer. The latter will be available from February 25.
