AMD prepares two GPU Navi 22 options for Radeon RX 6700 XT cards

In the weeks leading up to the official release of the Radeon RX 6700 XT, AMD is finding it increasingly difficult to keep the details of the new graphics card a secret. The information has already appeared on the web that the "reds" will release two versions of the GPU Navi 22 XT, one of which is intended for cards with factory overclocking. According to new leaks, the differences between these video cores lie not only in the frequency potential but also in the standard TGP level.

The two versions of the AMD Navi 22 XT graphics processor for the Radeon RX 6700 XT video cards are codenamed ASIC A and ASIC B. The first GPU is characterized by a nominal TGP (Total Graphics Power) of around 230 W, and the second is about 189 W. The junior version can be found only in the Radeon RX 6700 XT operating at reference frequencies.

The source also confirmed that the Radeon RX 6700 series graphics cards use GDDR6 memory chips with an effective frequency of 16 GHz. This means that the bandwidth of the video buffer, taking into account the 192-bit bus, will be 384 GB / s. The final performance of the Radeon RX 6700 XT will be 20-25% higher than that of the Radeon RX 5700 XT.

The official debut of the AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card, according to available data, is scheduled for March 18. The Radeon RX 6700 will be released a month later.
