AMD announces event for March 3 where it should present the new Radeon RX 6700 XT

AMD recently announced an event for next March 3rd. At this event, the North American manufacturer is expected to officially present its new graphics card Radeon RX 6700 XT.

If this device sees the light of day, it will probably be the main direct competitor of the new GeForce RTX 3060 Ti from Nvidia.

The world of graphics chips is in full swing with new products that have come out onto the market, but also those that are still awaiting. Nvidia brought renewed air to the hardware segment, with its GeForce RTX 3070, RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 graphics cards, has also launched the RTX 3060 Ti. The manufacturer is also preparing the RTX 3060 printer, which should be launched today, February 25th.

But while our readers prefer Nvidia's graphics chips, AMD is well prepared to face the competition. The company has already launched its Radeon RX 6800, RX 6800 XT and RX 6900 XT graphics, but is preparing to bring more news.

AMD Radeon RX 6700 Xt could be introduced on March 3

AMD revealed on Wednesday (24) that its next event will take place on March 3, where the brand news for the hardware market will be presented.

The virtual event is called “ Where Gaming Begins ” and will then take place next Wednesday at 11 am (EST), that is, 4 pm in mainland Portugal.

In the publication, it is confirmed that AMD will then unveil new products in the Radeon RX 6000 line of graphics. Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3060, respectively.


According to rumors, the RX 6700 XT should bring the Navi 22 chip and 12 GB of VRAM GDDR6 memory, focusing on those who intend to play at 1440p. It is also expected that the graphics will bring cooling with two fans. The GPU should be available in silver, black and red, with the Radeon logo highlighted.

But as the market for graphics chips is compromised at the stock level, it is possible that these novelties will soon arrive on the shelves.
