The Yakut studio Fntastic announced The Day Before - a multiplayer shooter with survival elements and an open world. The developers presented the first trailer of the project with footage of the gameplay, and also shared a selection of screenshots. The publisher of the game is MyTona.
The Day Before takes place in the dilapidated United States. After the pandemic, many infected people appeared in the country who feed on human flesh. Meanwhile, the survivors have strayed into groups and fight among themselves for food, weapons, and transport. Users have to create their own character, look for resources, and try not to die in the harsh world of The Day Before.
On the project page on Steam, the developers briefly talked about the main features of the shooter. The game will have an open world with a highly detailed environment and character control from a third-person perspective. Finding prey in life-threatening areas will be one of the main activities in The Day Before. When exploring locations, you can face other players and join them in battle. The world in the project also includes safe zones - colonies of survivors, where users will rest and trade.
In the first trailer for The Day Before, the developers showed two people exploring the city streets. The footage also showcases gunfights and the search for useful items.
The Day Before will be released on PC, the release date has not been disclosed yet.
