Sony has expanded its range with a device that resembles a giant electric shaver.
In fact, the photo above captures the SRS-RA5000 smart speaker, which offers Sony's proprietary 360 Reality Audio surround technology.
Seven speakers with a total power of 55 watts are responsible for sound reproduction. From the technical specifications, one can also note support for SBC and AAC codecs, support for voice assistants Google Assistant and Alexa, built-in Chromecast function, Spotify Connect support, dimensions 235 x 329 x 225 mm and weight 4.9 kg. The cost of the novelty is 600 euros and will be on sale in February.
Sony also introduced the more affordable SRS-RA3000 speaker at € 360.
It contains five emitters (two passive) with a total power of 20 watts and offers the same functions, but in a more classic design. Dimensions here are equal to 146 x 247 x 155 mm with a mass of 2.5 kg.
