The need for transformation and business process intelligence also drives its new RISE with SAP offering.
SAP strengthens its Business Process Intelligence unit, that is, business process intelligence, at the blow of the wallet.
It has signed an agreement to buy Signavio, which is precisely specialized in business process intelligence and management. Signavio brings a cloud-native process management suite to the SAP portfolio, which aims to provide flexible solutions so that its clients are able to carry out complete transformations.
This operation involves benchmarking data, standardized process KPIs, process and user behavior mining, and analysis of customer experience with a 360-degree view of each process, according to SAP itself.
SAP offers "vision" and "deep knowledge of the business processes" that run in its applications, while Signavio provides "process modeling and management functionalities" as well as a "process governance and collaboration solution".
This is how Rouven Morato, general director of Business Process Intelligence at SAP, says that Signavio is "the missing component to provide our customers with a comprehensive process transformation suite."
"The combination of business process intelligence from SAP and Signavio results in a leading suite of complete business process transformation to help our clients achieve the necessary requirements to obtain a competitive advantage," says Luka Mucic. , CFO of SAP.
"SAP and Signavio fit very well from the perspective of culture and share the same values," emphasizes Mucic, which will allow us to advance in the smart company strategy.
"Companies of all sizes need the ability to quickly adapt their business processes to changing market conditions," continues the manager. "I cannot stress enough how important it is for organizations to be able to design, compare, improve and transform processes" to "support new capabilities and models."
If all goes according to plan, the Signavio acquisition will be completed before the end of the first quarter.
RISE with SAP
The underlying intention, to bring process intelligence to all companies, is also seen in the latest SAP product announcement: the RISE with SAP package.
This innovation is designed to drive a comprehensive business transformation that underpins the resilience and agility of organizations, including migration of ERP processes to the cloud.
RISE with SAP comes in the form of a subscription and with a single person responsible for service level agreements, operations, and support.
It will enable business process redesign, go beyond technical migration to ongoing transformation, with automated services conducive to modular solution environments, and shape a smart enterprise.
"Geopolitical tensions, environmental challenges, and the current pandemic are forcing companies to address change faster than ever," said Christian Klein, CEO of SAP. "Companies that can adapt their business processes quickly will prosper."
"SAP can help them get there," says Klein. This is precisely what RISE with SAP is all about: helping customers constantly discover new ways of conducting business in the cloud to stay ahead of their industry. "
