Samsung Electronics has unveiled a new series of MICRO LED TVs in addition to Neo QLED TVs during its First Look virtual presentation ahead of CES 2021, which will be available towards the end of the year. It will feature models with a screen diagonal of 110, 99 inches, and less.
The MICRO LED uses micrometer-sized LEDs, eliminating the backlight and color filters found in conventional LCD panels. 24 million individually controllable MICRO LEDs provide true-to-life colors and high brightness.
The new models feature a one-piece Monolith Design with thin bezels and a 99% screen-to-body ratio. More details on the characteristics of new products Samsung will provide in the second half of the year, closer to their release, scheduled for the final of 2021.
Smart TV features have also been updated. In particular, the 4Vue (Quad View) function allows you to display up to four different content sources simultaneously on the screen. Now you can connect multiple external devices at once to watch multiple events or display multiple angles during video games.
Samsung also noted the dynamic sound of the new MICRO LED TVs, which, thanks to Majestic Sound technology, provide 5.1-channel sound without an external speaker.
