Samsung Electronics unveils 'Neo QLED·Micro LED' Presenting 'screen for all' vision

Samsung Electronics held the 'Samsung First Look 2021' event online.

Samsung First Look is an event in which Samsung Electronics introduces new TV-related technologies and new products every January and shares the future display direction.

At this event, Samsung Electronics presented a vision of' Screens for All' that emphasized people-centered technology and introduced the new 2021'Neo QLED', 'Micro LED', and new lifestyle TV products.

Jonghee Han, president of Samsung Electronics' video display division, said, “From the concept of 'Screens Everywhere' to provide the optimal display solution in any space, we will take a step further and reflect the lifestyles of more diverse users and reflect the future and environment of all of us. We will pioneer the era of 'Screens for All' that will protect the world.”

At this event, Samsung Electronics unveiled the 2021 'Neo QLED' TV that evolved from the existing QLED for the first time. The company explained that Neo QLED realizes differentiated image quality from existing products by applying ▲Quantum Mini LED ▲Quantum Matrix technology ▲Neo Quantum Processor.

Neo QLED has a harmonious design in any space with a slim appearance by applying 'Infinity One Design'. The 8K model, which is the top lineup, has an infinity screen with an almost invisible frame to enhance the immersion.

In terms of sound, using artificial intelligence ▲'SpaceFit' that analyzes the TV installation space and provides optimized sound ▲'Object Tracking Sound Pro' where the sound moves along the speaker according to the movement of objects in the video '▲ It is equipped with 'Q-Symphony', which finds a three-dimensional sound by using both TV and soundbar speakers.

Samsung Electronics introduced a 110-inch micro LED TV that was unveiled in Korea last month to the world. In March-April, the 110-type and 99-type products are scheduled to be released in the global market sequentially starting with Korea, and smaller 70-80-type products are planned to be introduced within the year.

Micro LED TVs to use micro LEDs in micrometers (µm), and unlike conventional TV displays, each element emits both light and color on its own, so you can experience the natural image quality of seeing real objects. 

In addition, ▲'MICRO AI Processor' that optimizes and upgrades the image to Micro-LED, ▲'Monolith design' that removes the border between the screen and the wall, ▲ 5.1 channels of magnificent sound.

In addition, Samsung Electronics introduced a lifestyle TV lineup that reflects consumer trends such as ▲ The Frame ▲ The Serif ▲ The Sero ▲ The Premiere ▲ The Terrace.
