Rumor: "Indiana Jones 5" will mark the beginning of a new MCU, the main role can be given to Chris Pratt

Insider Daniel Richtman announced that with the release of Indiana Jones 5, Lucasfilm plans to launch a new cinematic universe about an archaeologist - without Harrison Ford. The studio is allegedly considering the possibility of a prequel in which the role of young Jones will be transferred to Chris Pratt, known for "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Jurassic World".

In addition, several spin-offs with new characters are planned, as well as a series and an animated show for Disney +, in which Harrison Ford will have at least a cameo.

Indiana Jones 5 will be written by Jonathan Kasdan (Han Solo) and David Kapp, and will once again be directed by Steven Spielberg. The plot and the final title of the picture are still unknown. 

The premiere of the fifth part of "Indiana Jones" is scheduled for July 28, 2022.
