NVIDIA announced that it is conducting a free 'AI basic training course using Jetson' for developing next-generation AI experts for developers, educators and students.
The 'Jetson Nano 2GB Developer Kit' is used in this training course. The Jetson Nano 2GB developer kit, first unveiled at the GPU Technology Conference (GTC) 2020 in October last year, is designed to enable AI education and learning by configuring a hands-on project as an entry-level AI development kit. In other words, it is an ideal tool for trainees to learn AI more effectively through easy-to-follow tutorials and ready-to-build open source projects created by the developer community.
It is also powered by the same NVIDIA CUDA-X accelerated computing stack used to build AI products in fields such as robotics, industrial IoT, autonomous vehicles, healthcare, and smart cities. In addition, the Jetson Nano 2GB Developer Kit, with the capabilities and capabilities to run various AI models and frameworks, features a scalable platform for AI applications that evolve with learning.
This hands-on curriculum includes a 4-hour tutorial course, and you will be given the opportunity to obtain the 'Jetson AI Ambassador Program' certification when taking the entire course. Trainees who have obtained this certification can conduct Jetson AI training as an NVIDIA certified instructor, and receive support for online hands-on training infrastructure.
The curriculum consists of three sessions. Session 1 is the Deep Learning Institute's Jetson Nano AI course, which covers how to build deep learning classification and regression projects with computer vision models on Jetson Nano using a Jupyter notebook.
Session 2 deals with JetBot. JetBot is an open-source AI robotic platform powered by the Jetson Nano Developer Kit that runs multiple sensors and neural networks in parallel for object recognition, collision avoidance, and more. Finally, Session 3, Hello AI World, runs deep learning inference demos for real-time image classification, object detection, and segmentation in the Jetson Developer Kit via the JetPack SDK and NVIDIA Tensor RT. The 'AI Basic Curriculum Using Jetson' can be taken for free by any developer, educator, or student interested in AI.
In addition to this, NVIDIA is running the Jetson Nano Developer Kit Grant Program, which provides free Jetson Nano Developer Kits. If you submit a proposal that introduces an ongoing AI-related project, you can receive product support after going through a separate evaluation process.
