OWC has announced a new Thunderbolt Dock in conjunction with the all-digital pandemic CES 2021 Consumer Electronics Show.
The novelty supports the Thunderbolt 4 interface, which provides bandwidth up to 40 Gb / s. A total of four Thunderbolt 4 ports are available based on symmetrical USB Type-C connectors.
In addition, there are three USB 3.2 ports with data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps, one USB 2.0 port, a Gigabit Ethernet network port with an appropriate cable jack, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an SD slot.
The station provides the ability to simultaneously connect two 4K displays or a 5K / 6K / 8K monitor. The connected laptop can supply up to 90 watts of power.
The novelty is suitable for use with computers running Apple macOS and Microsoft Windows operating systems. The docking station is available for an estimated $ 250; deliveries will begin next week.
