Microsoft Korea announced that it will strengthen the Surface lineup by officially launching the Surface Pro 7+ and the 85-inch Surface Hub 2S 85” in Korea.
The Surface Pro 7 Plus is specifically designed to meet the demands of business and education and is equipped with an 11th-generation Intel Core processor, delivering 2.1 times faster performance than its predecessor. It also features a built-in LTE option and a 15-hour battery life to enable fast wireless Internet access anytime, anywhere, the company explained.
It also provides an SSD detachable function, which was not present in previous models. Removable SSD drives that make information easier to control in consideration of mobility, a characteristic of a hybrid culture, help users keep their data safe.
In addition, security features including advanced Windows hardware security have been improved. The integration of UEFI, firmware, and Windows operating system stack enables protection from cyberattacks, such as remotely protecting personal information and updating software through the cloud, without requiring expert engineers. In addition, by using the Windows Autopilot function, security and application settings, which previously had to be done by a professional engineer, can be remotely supported through an online network.
The maximum RAM capacity has also doubled from 16GB to 32GB, and the internal storage capacity is also considered to be up to 1TB. In addition, the product packaging has been improved to be more environmentally friendly, so the total weight is 23% lighter than the previous product, reducing carbon emissions, and 99% of the material is a natural fiber and 64% is made of recycled materials.
The base model of the Surface Pro 7 Plus (Intel i3, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, Wi-Fi) starts at 1.17 million won and is expected to be released in Korea on February 8.
The 85-inch Surface Hub 2S features an 85" 4K PixelSense touchscreen display, 4K camera and digital ink, 8-port distant MEM orientation, and front stereo speakers for vivid live sound for remote and face-to-face collaboration. In
addition, by configuring Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise, which support important business applications to run smoothly, the company said that it can support flexible collaboration and seamless work even in a rapidly changing hybrid business environment.
The 85-inch Surface Hub 2S costs 29 million won and includes a 4K camera and Surface Hub 2S pen.
