Microsoft unveiled the new 2-in-1 Surface Pro 7+, sold exclusively to the business and education markets.
The Surface Pro 7+, a variant of the Surface Pro 7 for general users, has a 12.3-inch size, display, three options for Intel processors, a maximum 1TB SSD option, a two-in-one form changing from a laptop form factor to a tablet, and an optional keyboard connection.
The Surface Pro 7+ is a product with some specifications adjusted for corporate use. Robin Sailor, vice president of the corporate division at Microsoft's Devices Group, said in a blog that the Surface Pro 7+ was specifically designed to focus on the needs of the business and education market. The differences are as follows.
-There is an external SSD hidden under the Surface Pro 7+ kickstand, so you can replace, upgrade and remove the drive for security reasons.
-It is possible to connect the LTE service of a carrier through the LTE Advanced option, which is the 4th generation mobile standard. The basic type only supports Wi-Fi connection.
-The battery life is up to 15 hours, 4 hours 30 minutes longer than the original Pro 7. When using LTE Advanced, the maximum usage time is 13.5 hours.
-It is sold pre-installed with Windows 10 Pro for business, not Windows 10 Home. Microsoft 365 apps such as Word, Excel, and Outlook are also pre-installed on the assumption that Office 365 basic or premium licenses are used.
-You can choose one of the 11th generation Intel Core i3, i5, and i7. Surface Pro 7 is sold with a 10th generation CPU.
