LG releases next-generation electronic car key module: UWB technology can be used for high-precision positioning, support parking lot to find cars


According to AROGED, LG Innotek, a subsidiary of LG Electronics, has developed a new type of electronic car key module, which is used to connect a smartphone to realize the electronic car key function. This module is installed in the car, using Bluetooth and other networks to connect to the owner's smartphone, while achieving a high-precision positioning function, easy to find vehicles in the parking lot.

According to official information, the new electronic car key module has high-security performance, can identify the digital key stored in the smartphone to unlock the vehicle, and can completely replace the traditional car key. The module can realize remote start, door unlocking/locking, and positioning functions.

However, LG said that the new generation of products will increase the positioning accuracy by 5 times, making it easier for drivers to find vehicles in underground garages and other places.
