LG has announced the pricing of a new 4K laser projector that will hit the market on January 18th. The device will receive support for Apple AirPlay 2 and will run webOS 5.0. The LG HU810P projector announced back in August 2020, will cost customers $ 3000.
According to LG, the new projector is capable of outputting images up to 300 inches diagonal and delivers 2,700 lumens of brightness. The devices support HDR10 and HLG HDR standards and are capable of adjusting picture parameters depending on the content being played back or the room in which it is working. The projector is capable of detecting the brightness of the surrounding light and adjusting the refresh rate to match the content being played. Its laser light source is rated for 20,000 hours of use. With webOS 5.0, the device supports a number of popular streaming services. Also announced is support for Miracast and voice assistants Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. LG HU810P is equipped with three HDMI ports, one of which supports HDMI 2.1 standard.
As a reminder, LG launched its first 4K projector in 2018. In addition, the company's portfolio includes a short-focus model that provides a large-high-quality picture, being a few centimeters from the screen.
