Earlier Google warned that from the New Year all data will be lost
It's no secret that Google has shut down its Google Play Music service. However, users can still transfer their music library and data to YouTube Music.
Earlier, Google warned that you need to switch to a new service or download your Google Play Music library before the end of December 2020, otherwise all data will be lost.
However, at the time of this writing, the tool for downloading the music library and moving to YouTube Music is still working.
Since the beginning of December, when opening the music.google.com page or the application on Android and iOS, users only saw the message Google Play Music is no longer available, suggesting to transfer your account and music library to YouTube Music, save yourself music library to your device, delete recommendation history, or delete music library.
