Kingston Digital has revealed plans to release the latest Solid State Drives (SSD) at CES 2021, which is held in digital format due to the epidemiological situation.
Devices for the consumer segment and data centers are being prepared. Specifically, Kingston is announcing its first PCIe 4.0 NVMe products and USB 3.2 external drives.
The Ghost Tree is coming: high-performance M.2 SSDs with PCIe 4.0 x4, aimed primarily at content creators and demanding users. The data transfer rate will be up to 7000 MB / s. Buyers will be able to choose between modifications with a capacity of 1 to 4 TB.
The NV Series family will include new NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 products capable of storing up to 2TB of data.
XS2000 external drives equipped with a USB 3.2 2x2 interface based on a USB Type-C connector are being prepared. Such devices will be able to transfer data at speeds up to 2000 MB / s, and their capacity will range from 500 GB to 2 TB.
DC1500M solutions will be offered to data center operators. These U.2 NVMe products are engineered to withstand heavy loads.
