Developer King Arthur: Knight's Tale has announced that the Steam Early Access release has been pushed back to January 26th. Initially, it was supposed to take place today, but NeocoreGames took additional time to polish and remove the "roughness".
This is how the developers appeal to the players:
Dear Knights, over the past few weeks, we at NeocoreGames have been working on a version of our game for the Steam Early Access program. We have just a little bit left. However, there are still a few features that need to be tweaked and rough edges that need to be polished. Therefore, we have decided to postpone the release of King Arthur: Knight's Tale to Early Access. We want to make sure everything is up to date and bugs fixed before you embark on your adventure in Avalon. And we need a little more time for this.
King Arthur: Knight's Tale is a tactical RPG set in a dark fantasy setting. The plot will revolve around Sir Mordred, who travels around Avalon in search of King Arthur. The story is inspired by classic stories, and every decision will influence the development of the campaign.
NeocoreGames is best known for The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing and Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr. That being said, King Arthur: Knight's Tale was successfully funded on Kickstarter in 2020. The game will be in Early Access for several months, after which it will be released on the next-generation consoles.
