Japanese stores have started warning about the end of production of PS4

Sony decided to stop the production of 5 versions of PS4 and PS4 Pro as mentioned below. Twitter user Cheesemeister3k posted a photo of an announcement in a Japanese store to stop supplying new PS4s due to production interruption.

The following items will disappear from availability:

• White PS4 500GB and 1TB
• Black PS4 1 & 2 TB
• 1TB White PS4 Pro

While the black PS4 with 500 GB remains on sale.

PS4 came out in 2013. The console now sells 113.8 million.
