Steam beta recently received another update, the main innovation of which was expanded support for Xbox controllers. The Steam client now supports four Xbox controllers and has a dedicated activation option in the options.
Players will be able to assign actions to the Xbox Elite back lobes and the Share button on Xbox Series controllers, as well as activate vibration feedback in triggers. Read the full list of changes here.
The date of the update for the mass public is still unknown. At the end of last year, Steam added support for the DualSense gamepad, but without tricks like adaptive triggers and tactile feedback.
