Fortinet Korea announced the 'FortiGate 200F series', a next-generation firewall based on the latest SD-WAN ASIC.
The FortiGate 200F next-generation firewall is a FortiGate appliance based on the latest version (SOC4) of the Fortinet SD-WAN ASIC built to accelerate the performance of the WAN edge. FortiGate 200F can support both WAN edge and thin edge deployment methods.
The FortiGate 200F combines SD-WAN and next-generation firewall functions to help enterprises integrate multiple point products to more effectively protect the WAN edge.
The FortiGate 200F enables companies with thin edge-based branch offices to easily switch to SD-WAN appliances that support a variety of network topologies and advanced routing capabilities incorporating legacy routers. This allows companies to seamlessly transition from traditional IP routing to application-centric networks and reduce costs.
