Shortly after the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit, Redmi CEO Lu Weibing announced that Redmi would be one of the first companies to launch smartphones based on the Snapdragon 888 SoC.
The first high-quality render of the Redmi K40 Pro smartphone has appeared on the Web, which confirms the new design of the main camera unit, which includes three image sensors. The main camera will have a resolution of 108 megapixels, such sensors have already become the standard for flagship models and sub-flagships Xiaomi and Redmi.
Earlier, real photos of the Redmi K40 smartphone appeared on the Web, which confirmed that the smartphone should have a front camera embedded in the screen. The photo also shows that the smartphone is equipped with four image sensors in the main camera.
According to reports, Redmi K40 should receive a flat LCD screen, a 4500 mAh battery, support for fast charging and stereo speakers.
The release of Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro is expected in January this year.
