Everspace 2 will be released in Early Access on January 18

Rockfish Games Studio has unveiled a new teaser for Everspace 2, and also announced a release date. The game will appear in Early Access on Steam and GOG on January 18.

Everspace 2 was originally supposed to be released in September, but amid the pandemic and the transfer of Cyberpunk 2077, the title was postponed until December 10. After that, the game was rescheduled again because of the same CD Projekt RED.

Synopsis:

Everspace 2 is a fast-paced open-world, single-player space shooter with tons of loot and classic RPG elements. An exciting story awaits you, the action of which takes place in a world full of secrets, dangers and unforgettable adventures.

During the passage of the story campaign, you will make new friends. They will help you with tasks and support you in fierce battles and ordeals.

The game will feature an expanded perk system and a new class system for ships with dozens of models. Players will be able to fully customize their spaceship to suit their individual play style.

The developers of Everspace 2 promise to completely surpass the first part, both in quality and in scale. Instead of the roguelike mechanics of the first game in the sequel, the focus will be on open-world gameplay.
