CD Projekt RED said even before the release of Cyberpunk 2077 that the game would not include vehicle customization. In fact, it turned out that the game does not even have customization of V's appearance after the character has already been created. The decision was strange and caused a lot of discontents, so soon after the release, the craftsmen began to release modifications that allowed changing the hairstyle and other character traits. The solution is far from the best, but until the studio itself adds such an option, it is better than nothing.
But in the case of technology, the situation was unfavorable. The fact is that Cyberpunk 2077 simply does not include systems and mechanics that would even allow the appearance of cars or motorcycles to be changed. And if you consider that transport management resembles an iron-on ice, then abandoning customization makes sense. However, if you still have a desire to influence how your car looks, then there is one mod that allows you to manipulate models.
Finally! You can now "customize" your vehicles.. Hope this will be available on future update.. from r/cyberpunkgame
The Object Appearance Changer allows you to randomly change the appearance of objects - from cars to NPCs, story characters, and everything else. Since Cyberpunk 2077 includes several different versions of objects, the mod simply changes the current one to one of the alternative ones. This does not affect the gameplay in any way, and when loading the save, all changes are reset, however, with this mod, you can customize the look of the car or change the NPC's costume to make an interesting screenshot in the photo mode.
The installation process of the mod is not complicated - all instructions in English are available on the Nexus. There is also information on how to manage the change of models and add to favorites.
